The California Registry has been providing senior housing and health care information and referrals since 1939. A state licensed health care referral agency, it is a DBA of the American Information and Referral Services Corporation (AIRS™), a for profit California corporation established in 1984 .Our agency provides referrals throughout Los Angeles County, Orange County, parts of Riverside and San Bernardino Counties, the San Francisco Bay area, Santa Barbara County, Sacramento County and Ventura county. Our offices are located in Orange County.
Although the services we provide are free to our individual clients, being a for profit corporation, the California Registry generates its income by charging a referral fee to the facility where a successful placement has been made. This is the same practice as followed by other senior care referral agencies within the state. One of the differences with California Registry is that we have been voluntarily licensed by the Department of Health Services since 1981 to provide these types of referrals.
Our contract with facilities specifically states that the facilities are not to discriminate against our clients by charging additional fees or surcharges over and above the customary rates because they used our service. We STRONGLY urge any client to notify us if they are asked to pay such a fee.

- Adult Housing (ages 18-59)
- Apartments
- HUD Housing
- Section 8 Housing
- other low income housing
